For years now there has been a lot of talk about these two stars. Messi and Ronaldo have dominated the worlds televisions with astonishing rushes and wonderful goals. But the main question is; Who is the best?
Almost Every Real Madrid fan would say that Ronaldo is the best and almost every Barcelona fan would argue the same about Messi, but how do we actually determine who's the best.
To determine who the best is we will only be looking at the stats of this last season which includes the Spanish cup games and of course the Champions league games.
Messi
Messi (Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini) is only 23 years old and already dominating the top scorers lists.
So far this season he has played 31 games and scored 31 goals in the Spanish competition (premiera division). For the Spanish Cup he has played 7 games and scored 7 times. In the champions league he has played 11 games and scored 11 times. This brings Messi up to a total of 50 games and 52 goals
Assists
Well lets not forget that Messi is also an outstanding team player and also has a total of 23 assist this season.
Ronaldo
Ronaldo (Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro) is now 26 years old but has been one of the most fun players to watch in the past few years.
So far this season Ronaldo has played 33 games and scored 38 times in the Spanish competition. for the Spanish cup he has played 8 games and scored 7 times. in the champions league he has played 12 games and scored 6 goals. This brings Ronaldo up to a total of 53 games and 51 goals.
Assists
Ronaldo is better known for his fantastic solo's, but despite this fact he still has 10 assists to his name.
